Welcome. I’m Sayrah Garrison.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of post graduate experience working in various settings ranging from intensive in home therapy, inpatient psychiatric, residential crisis and outpatient settings to name a few.

I've worked with diverse populations including but not limited to, system involved youth, adults with severe and persistent mental illness, and the elderly. I specialize in working with individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders and mood disorders.

I have a special interest in working in group settings and am adept at leading groups utilizing various modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Problem Solving Treatment Therapy to name a few. I also enjoy offering body based practices like yoga, mindfulness meditation and embodied movement in therapeutic settings.  Most recently (May 2026), I became a Certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner (CSTFP) under the tutelage of trauma expert, Dr. Abi Blakeslee and maintain a trauma informed approach in my care with clients. I am actively involved in the maintenance of my clinical licensure and in my most recent licensure renewal cycle completed a Hakomi-Informed Certificate Training: Somatic Healing for Complete Mind-Body Trauma Transformation with Manuela Mischke-Reeds. I am proud to offer you an integrative approach to mental health and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

As a certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider, I am available to work with clients residing in California for individual therapy online. In New Jersey, I am available to provide individual or small group embodied healing sessions online or in person.
